Experience:

This is my seventh year with Great Lakes Learning Academy. I began my teaching career in 2007. I have subbed and taught every class K-12.

B.A. in political science, a minor in history, and a Masters degree in Education. I am certified and highly qualified to teach all SS classes grades 6-12. 

Courses I'm Teaching this semester: World History A & B (I and II).  AP Government and Politics. Honors World History. Drones: Remote Pilot Certification, SS 7th grade

Personal: Summer is by far my favorite time of the year......fishing, boating, camping, swimming, hiking, pretty much any outdoor activities. I am a baseball umpire in the spring and part of the summer. I like The History Channel, I.D. Channel, The Goldberg's and several cooking shows; I'm actually a pretty good cook (so I'm told). I enjoy watching most sports.  I'm a Lions, Red Wings, Pistons, and Tigers fan (even if we stink) Oh yeah, I'm also an avid MSU Spartan fan....Go Green, Go White!
